Bellwether Kennel is the new name chosen to represent the collaboration of Ginger Hawkins and Paul Hulsing located in Atlanta, Georgia.  We chose our kennel name to reflect our goal and intent, now and in the future, of producing the highest quality Border Terriers for show, performance and treasured companions, with the emphasis always on temperament, soundness and health.  The selectively acquired foundation stock at Bellwether carries some of the finest bloodlines in the country.  The beat goes on as our foundation stock now has children, grandchildren and great-grand-children making their own marks in show, agility, obedience, earthdog and therapy venues.

We take great pleasure in the accomplishments of our dogs and their offspring in all venues.  We place high value on breeding a dog that exemplifies the AKC Standard in the conformation rings.  However, at the end of the day -- no matter how accomplished the dog -- his primary role will always be as his owner’s perfect pet.  It is our responsibility to produce the dog that will fill that bill and provide an owner with an exquisite experience  —  sharing life with a fine dog.  Or two ...
